You can't post .wav files here apparently so I put a page on my website so anybody can listen to this incredible phone call. Companies like this continue to operate in California mostly because the PUC has practically nobody in their office to investigate this kind of thing. I wonder if J. Scott of Nashville answers the phone and calls people pansies if they ask for his license?

If you go back, do a search on the names for this forum... you will see folks like myself who ask a question or pose an idea and in no time at all the reg'lars will start in on them if the reg'lars wisdom is ignored or questioned. I've emailed a few of the targets of the reg'lars ire and its the same story for each of them. They post and it ends up one of the reg'lars will invariably start calling them childish names and insulting them in an attempt to drive them off the reg'lars little boy's club here. Its a hoot. I'm sure you've seen the other post where some self-appointed expert on reg'alations keeps drilling home what anyone with google can read and understand. This California Act that is being bandied back and forth is one. It is targeting the airline and cruiseline travel agents and intermediaries who steal thousands from ma and pa kettle and never deliver a ticket. It doesn't target our industry yet a certain person keeps drilling it home as if anyone in California cares about the anal mindset of somebody from Florida.

It is alleged by many observers that permits are often given out "the back door " without a hearing. Very different from California where I grew up. As far as limos.com goes I joined for a trial period for the leads. I discovered that people in the Car & Driver crowd were always undercutting me locally so I dropped the program. I like contract work where they are paying for a high level of service and the margins are good. Relative to your illegal problem, I would treat them like roaches-as Charles Bronson once said : "You have to kill them all or what's the point." Develop a weekly or monthly documented list of illegals and send the list to the State Attorney General, various media outlets, and law enforcement. You may wish to have a separate entity perform this function as the criminals will become quite angry with you. Do what you have to do Luken . PS Thanks again for posting that phone call !!

I can't tell if you're trying to be friends with the Gunny or not. Calling him a "Jarhead" is one of the best compliments that can be bestowed upon a man in this world.

Besides, he was trying to be nice when he gave you advice on the yahoo account. You read into it all wrong. But now it's a bit too late. RIP.

Good to see you here. I'll probably see you soon at Wilson Creek or at Faulkner(getting the free sandwich).

Make sure you have some Pablum on hand just in case "you know who" shows up.

Wilson Creek has some great almond flavored champagne that will hide the sent in his drink.

Now, now, now... If you post questions to this forum, and are looking for advice, when it presents itself, take it or leave it. Even if you don't like the suggestions, at least someone took time out of their busy schedule to help in whatever way they could. Yes, we all know there are a lot of illegals out there, and until the PUC in all the states, get their crap together, they will continue to operate. The PUC's will get it together if all legal operators work together on this issue and hard press these government agencies that are very lacking in the crackdown of these gypsy operators, whether it be because of the lack of manpower, rules & provisions, etc., none should matter, these agencies should be doing the jobs that all taxpayers are paying them to do to stay safe. Keep sending those letters to the PUC, they will eventually get tired of receiving them and might take steps/action in getting those illegal operators shut down.

You just have to be a 'tard to put this up here as an example. Men, real men saw a problem & instead of acting like whining little bitches like you, we have taken it to the courts. It's called taking action instead of crying & waiting for someone to come along & wipe our noses. Now go back to your stamping the feet, crying & bitching how LDC & the Ca PUC is farking you over.

I rest my case. This ONCE AGAIN from the guy with 2,624 posts to this forum in under 4 years, that's 656 posts a year, over 54 posts per month, an average of like 2 posts EVERY SINGLE DAY OF HIS LIFE, most of which are whining about his noble fight with the NLA, his local regulators, and everyone else who he disagrees with. Yeah, post read, recorded and acted upon by government officials you twit moron. You Momma's Boys are real tough behind the keys. On second thought, don't even make an attempt to publish a website naming illegals. You'd probably get a personal visit & be bitched slapped all over the place.

DOT rules are the same anywhere , so no problem there , but each state has different rules , such as workers comp , insurance , etc.

Any takers - I will gladly turn the domain over to someone that is willing to run with this idea and truly develop it. You only need one person from each state that knows the laws to help.

Gentlemen... every state should already have such a site in place. These other dudes keep telling me to stop wasting their's and my precious time with this, yet turn around and suggest I pay for a website to do what the PUC already posts with our tax dollars to pay for it. Pretzel logic anyone? I tell my clients about the PUC site. Some are knowledgeable, some aren't. In the end all are aware now. See how this works?

Enforcement agencies do not put a high priority on illegals for a simple reason and that reason is, despite all the scare tactics used, the Gypsy Operators are not out there killing anyone. So either learn to live with them or slap their names all over the place.

This mentality is typical. Do people have time to walk and chew gum at the same time? Do folks have time to think about more than one line of thought at one time? WTF? Let illegal operators continue to steal from you, fine. The reason I targeted this crew was because they continued to advertise on limos.com for YEARS after they had been revoked in California. I had been notifying limos.com for YEARS that this bunch at Paramount [and others] were illegal but interestingly enough limos.com just couldn't get around to removing them. Wonder why? Maybe if everyone were to open their eyes about the criminal behavior of the White House things would change... but of course that would mean people would have to think about more than one thing at at time. What was I thinking? More than one thing at at time it seems...
