Hi Everybody

I'v called NJ Division of Taxation and after couple of hours of waiting on hold and being redirected from one place to another I was advised that we should charge sales tax on service fee, parking, tolls, fuel surcharge, and in regards to gratuity it is "sales tax free" as long as 100% goes to the driver.
I think we're already paying sales tax on parking and tolls. Don't you think it is double taxation??

And also how do they define "limousine service"?? I run a 5 car (sedan) operation and don't provide stretch limousine services (only Town Car sedans)but in my company name it says limousine, should I be excempt??

They advised you correct.
It sounds crazy, but what you expect from NJ?
