Hey guys I need your opinion about our redesigned web-site. I have been after the owners of my firm for some time to remodel our web-site and here is the result.
http://www.kielyhines.com/ Please give me your opinion on this. Take into consideration that we are brokers of multiple lines of insurance not just transportation. So please don't think of it as a transportation insurance web-site but as general insurance. I have to be honest that while I am glad that they updated the site, I do not like it. Thanks in advance. Agree with Steve W. - Nice looking site, for as much as an insurance provider site can look. The next (or possibly the 1st) important question is how does it do in being found by search engines and under what search terms? Unless you all think that your clients will find you without searching? |

The only thing that stood out to me was the legend on your US Service Area map. Licensed / Unlicensed.
Makes it sound like your service is available everywhere, but your not licensed in several states... I'm sure this is not the impression you wanted to give (or maybe I'm just putting too much thought into it). Perhaps an Available / Unavailable legend? 'Unlicensed' just sounds so negative or illegal. Jim Martin Night Out Limousine Hollister, CA |

I like it!
Its clean, concise, direct. You dont need much flash to attract insurance clients. It provides all information that is needed, and it has a good amount of detail. The only thing I would really change is that color scheme. Skerdian 19 year old limo operator/college student. "Effort only fully releases its reward after a person refuses to quit"- Napoleon Hill |

Its OK, just not very special
Not eyecatching or memorable But it also lacks something, not sure what exactly - looks like a small company trying to pretend to be big And it doesnt work perfectly - the map covers some of the text B |

I don't really know... it seems adequate. But at the same time it has a "busy" all-over-the-place vibe about it. There's good information provided, yet it doesn't seem to flow as nicely and as polished as you'd expect.

Think It's fine Phil. I mean it's insurance how exciting can it really be!
It's just basically a nice brochure online, nothing wrong with that. |
