Anyone know why the 2002 SUV limo is so cheap at $29,000? Whats wrong with it? What city/state is it in? And why are the 3 black towncars(same pic for each) so expensive? Does someone really think a used towncar with that many miles will sell for over $30,000? Just curious. Everytime I see the low priced SUV limo I wonder whats wrong with it and then I laugh when I see the overpriced towncars.

That is what it is all about ! In the Age of Limousines I had a master salesman who was able to move used limos all over the world for me-and I would name the price. Now I just have a few limos for long time clients and run primarily L sedans, SUV's Livery vans, and minibuses. We have developed sources to move these vehicles when we are done with them. Times change but the need for good connections never does.

Thanks Dean, I had no idea. I guess I'm just used to knowing the right people and getting good deals. Tough times don't last. Tough people do. |

Not sure about the SUV limo but with the town cars they appear to be trolling for the less educated buyer. In their defense I freely admit that I decide on my price when selling used then look for the avenue to sell it at that price. In secondary or tertiary markets one can often receive premium prices.

A well maintained L sedan with over 100,000 miles will bring a good price if marketed correctly. I have two veteran dealers that absorb all the used product I can provide. With limos I have often sold a three year old unit with 80-100 miles for a healthy ten thousand dollar profit. When you purchase a unit you must know when you will sell it. Spending time developing your options for vehicle disposal is a wise undertaking.

Thanks Jess. If they can get it, all power to em. It just caught me as strange to see 3 different ads with the same picture and such a difference in mileage, but all at the same price. Especially the one with over 100k. The SUV limo for $29,000 seems like a deal even though it's no so traditional. Does anyone know where it is or what's wrong with it? There has to be something bad for that price. If nobody knows, I'll stop being lazy and email the guy, but I doubt he's gonna tell me. Tough times don't last. Tough people do. |

Limelight who posted the sedans always have the most expensive cars on the market.
That is what Budget car rental does, they buy a lincoln town car for Ie $27500, run it for a year and sell it to the lincoln dealers for the same price who then sell it to us. So they can only make a profit. The lincolns run more than an suv. My sedans average about 1,500 to 2000 miles a week. So after three years the $27500 sedan I bought is worth about $5000. |

To whoever was selling the towncars and pulled them, I apologize if I seemed to be rude, it wasn't my intention. Good luck on selling your vehicles.

Thanks for the response. I'll stick with my 2007 DTS. I can't see paying more than 30K for a towncar with more than 100,000 miles even if it's an L. Tough times don't last. Tough people do. |
