Holiday Greetings to all my friends (and Gunny!). Okay, just kidding Gunny, you can be my friend.

I am leaving tonight on a winter vacation. I will return after the first of the year. I will of course try to hit the Internet at any opportunity to catch up and certainly visit back here today (Friday) before I leave.

I want to thank Dean for helping me bring in 2007 in his fine city and the wonderful hospitality shown to my wife and I while visiting. I figure I owe it to you Dean for the successful year I had since you helped me bring it in. I wish you a Merry Christmas (you bet your ass I said CHRISTMAS!) and a happy and prosperous New Year.

I want to thank Gunny for keeping me on my toes all year and forcing me to think above the bar. I know you are going through a difficult time in your personal life and I admire you for the efforts put forth to help those around you who truly need you. Despite being a jerk to me sometimes - you are, deep down inside, a great man and I am not sure I could walk in your shoes.

To my personal friends, Tony, Matt, all the Dave's, and everyone else I chat with regularly - I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope Santa brings you everything you want for Christmas. I hope every car you own rolls on New Year's Eve and you have success and fame in 2008.

To my friends in Idaho and Montana (you know who you are you lurkers), keep the fires going, the snow chains on your vehicles and a hot cup of cocoa in your hands!

Thanks to Michael for the great place to post our thoughts, our views, our opinions and in this case - my yada, yada, yada. This is my end of the year speech.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Sincerely,

Jim Luff

Jim thank you very much. It will be intersting having a newborn again...especially at 50 years old. It's like they say life is what happens when your busy making plans. My other children are thrilled to have another little sister on the way.
