Rant

As is the fact that business has been a bit slow of late is not bad enough, I have just noticed that after every 12 hours of inactivity, my credit card terminal adds insult to injury by switching the text on the display from "Ready," to "No Transactions."

Wow, thanks, I may not have noticed had it not been for that annoying little reminder. frock

And I thought the wife's nagging about parked limos was just enough torture.... Rant

Diversify the operations. What is the call to closing ratio? Over 50% of the leisure travelers in Florida use cost saving share-a-ride airport transfers. Offer the consumers options to choose from & automatically close with contained choices:
"Well mam, which would you prefer, option a or b?"

It is not only the Limo business that is slow. The Guy I work for in the summer in the OTR Bus business has very little work also here in Northern Michigan. If it were not for the fact that I am getting some custodial work at the school dist. I would have to rely on the unemployment I am able to collect from the Bus operator to get through until school starts after Labor Day. The Limo business died a long time ago. So much so that I sold one of my Limos on Ebay and it will be on it's way to Hamm Germany Thursday morning. The other one sold but the Guy defaulted so it will go back up on ebay Thurs. Thank goodness you haven't gotten to that point yet.
